let me first tell you that i really enjoyed your website and the
philosophies it entrusts.

a few years ago (in 2003) i came across a photo you took of what i
know believe may be of the Thar desert. at the time i didn't know much
about the photo itself, but i immediately liked it a lot. this photo
over the years has greatly influenced me in the music i made as ric
veda. in fact, it was that year (2003) that i had great changes in my
life, and that i began writing music and playing as ric veda, playing
a harmonium while singing gospel influenced folk songs. the warm
grainy desert picture fit with the sound that was happening.

so 3 years have now gone by, and i am releasing the first full length
album for ric veda. when it came time to choose a cover photo, your
photo seemed a very fitting choice.

The quality and sheer quantity of the writings on your page is quite

you read much about buddhism?  There are certain writers out there
making a good (it seems) case for extra-sensory (and extra-scientific,
mostly) existence, like Watts and Chopra.  I'm pretty sure I'm an
atheist too, but it's cool to think about.

Here's a (-nother) question for you: Is it (or was it at first) tough
for you to bare your soul through these pages?  I find it tough to be
totally honest with everyone (my religious parents come to mind.)  I
think eventually I will have to "come clean" with everybody, but for
now, I don't quite have the courage.

Hello!  I've just read your homepage, and I really enjoyed it.  Last
year I worked as an au-pair outside of D.C. (Great Falls, VA), so I
spent a lot of time in Washington.  It was fun to read about all the

I just read your "review" of Alice In Chains.  While I realize that
this may have been written quite awhile ago and that you may have
changed your mind, I cannot help but be amazed at your criticism.
Alice In chains is not the shallow band you claim it to be, comparing

I just went through your cd-collection. You should listen to the Dutch
band The Gathering (try their album `Always...'). I'm not sure if it's
available in the U.S. (I found it somewhere on net in the states), but
you'll love it. Some other suggestions: 
curve - `radio sessions'    -- much better than `public fruit'
                            -- this one is a kind of `live'
annihilator - alice in hell -- MUCH better than `set
the on fire'

The Clapton album is called "From the Cradle", I believe that the tour
has the same name, not "_IN_ the Cradle"

Also, it was no secret that the show would be "an evening of nothing
but the blues", and anyone who went home dissapointed did not
understand the concept behind the album and tour.

Found your page while searching with web-crawler for 'primal scream'.
Stunned by the fact that you've got so many titles that I have in my
own collection.  But since you are a big Blackmore fan, as I'm, how
come I couldn't find Rainbow in your list?  Do you update the list
when you buy CDs, or monthly etc.?  In my collection I've got about
320 CDs.  About Dio-Strange highways : I really like most of Dio's
records, but this one sucks!!  Even though I bought it very cheap, I
regret buying this one!!

Favourites at the moment: Deep Purple (No need to argue),
Cranberries(title in last() ) Suede, Oasis, Radiohead and of course
Tomas DiLeva (The spaceflower guy: learn some swedish to listen and

Well I'm impressed with the information on Primus, and other bands.  I
was shocked to read one of the reviews on laloopalooza I really like
Smashing Pumpkins and their lyrics(at leasts the one that I can

I just won tickets on our local radio station for laloopalooza for
Sept 4 at Calstate Domigas Hills.  It's been sold out already so I'm
lucky.  Hopefully this event will compare to what I've read in your

Nifty.  I was browsing your CD collection and I have a
recomendation:  Walt Mink  (They have two records on Caroline,
they're on Columbia now, but haven't released anything yet.)

Hmmm...  It just occured to me you might want more information.  So,
Walt Mink is a trio who attended MacAlester College in St. Paul, MN.
They graduated, tried the real world, and decided to try the rock and
roll thing again.  The name, Walt Mink, is "borowed" from a professor
at MacAlster.  The sound Unbelievable.  Poppy, with tight, interesting
drumming, and a guitar style unlike any other.  It's not so much that
he does wiered things, it's that he plays standerd stuff in wiered
arangements.  So as a guitar player, I think you'd especially like
Walt Mink.

cool.  Primus is one of my favourite bands but not very well

desired.  Your concert review of Primus and the Melvins sounds 
like a third grader wrote it.  By the way, the Melvins have 
more talent than you will ever have so don't knock them.
