Fall from Grace are the latest addition to the Mayhem/Fierce label, and complement the hard-edge no-holds-barred rock released by the label, living up to its name. The production (by Matt Crowe of Crowbar) is excellent and brings out the raw aggressiveness and power in the music of the band. Each song is solidly grounded by a layer of hooks (delivered by Jay Ceravolo, formerly of Exhorder) and syncopated drums, and topped off by Wil Buras' angry vocals. Fall from Grace's first self-titled release features eleven songs at least a few of which have the potential to become metal classics. If you like your rock hard and raw this is an album definitely worth checking out.
