This 10 song release combines soulful, heart broken, highly poetic lyrics with basic rock backing. The music is not very imaginative and therefore has Top 40 potential. This is a classic example of formula rock, a good-looking guy (in this case, Mike Tramp formerly of White Lion) with a guitar who sings about all the pain in his life. The vocals aren't very powerful and it is the package, rather than the music, that has appeal. The closest similarity I can think of to this music is Michael Bolton. If Tramp gets any exposure he'll make it big... but do we need another heart broken balladeer out there?
