Stickmen - interviews

Life Colored Green

Stickmen combine tight syncopated drumming with catchy riffs in the spirit of Therapy? and Laundry. There's a bit of funk vaguely reminscent of The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Psychefunkapus. This is a release with consistently good songs and is great to bounce around to. Highlights include Jack, Sick of it All, Monkey, Sorry, and Mexican Radio (a cover of Wall of Voodoo's tune, and one of my favourite tunes on the album---very Ween/Beck-like and quite different from everything else on the album). The multimedia is quite well done also, better than most interactive CDs.
