The Adventures of Pluto Nash

Eddie Murphy is in fairly decent form in The Adventures of Pluto Nash, a fairly interesting no-brainer of a film.

Pluto Nash (Murphy), just released from prison, takes over a bar on the moon, after saving his friend from a bunch of loan sharks. He makes it into one of the most successful bars on the moon, which earns him the envy of the reclusive Rex Crater who wishes to turn the bar into a hotel. When Nash rejects Crater's offer, Crater attempts to take Nash's club by force. Aided by his dated robot Bruno (Randy Quaid) and love interest Dina Lake (Rosario Dawson), Nash must foil Crater's plans.

The visuals featuring a futuristic human colony on the moon are interesting. The story moves at a good pace, but there's not a lot to it. There are enough funny moments to make watching The Adventures of Pluto Nash a decent time-killer.
